How does God see us? What does he use to see us? Ever wondered? Unlike man who can only see the outward appearance, God can look right into our hearts and see our thoughts, our secrets, our hidden motive. The real you. This is the man God relates with. This may be different from what you project to others but this is the real you God is most concerned about.
For men, the only way we can have an idea what someone is thinking is when they talk to us or express themselves to us. This is the wonderful gift of communication that enables us to express ourselves to others.
This is one of the unique qualities of man that differentiates him from other creatures which is the gift of communication.
Man can express himself in communication in a way that others can understand him using words. That means when a man speaks, you have an idea of the type of person he is. Some people can study a person and tell you more about that person than someone who has known them for long they can because there are subtle means of communication you can give to others even without knowing.
Someone who knows you very well can say to others about you: I know him or her very well I know what she can do and I know what she can’t do. This is because your character is quite clear to them. They are not still trying to figure you out. They won’t believe everything that people say about you. They know you re not perfect but they also know when someone is telling exaggerated stories about you maybe for fame, for money. Whatever their motive, they can see through such individuals and be able to distinguish good from bad.
Words are so very important, when we speak them out, we say they are words, when we write them, we are talking also. This is why people can be sued by others when they believe that others are abusing their privacy or tarnishing their image.
Today so many people are speaking out, but what are they speaking? We need to speak out when we know that others are telling lies and spreading unwholesome information about others. We can’t be quiet or we will be encouraging them. We need to challenge the way people see us and present ourselves the way we would prefer to be seen.
That is why we must express ourselves intelligently, creatively. No one can know what’s on your mind except you tell them. Maybe you are inspired by someone then you should express it in a way that they can appreciate. Be very clear about what you are saying. You cant say you like me and you know what my favorite color is for example and then you know my least favorite color and you are using my least favorite color to communicate with me. You have to be clear because the devil is clear. When people feel appreciated they will feel encouraged to do more.
All through scripture God expresses himself to us. His love for us, how he cares for us. If we read through psalm 78, we can see how God did miracles for the Israelites but instead of acknowledging him they made gods for themselves. Today many of us are like that or we have done that. We can get right with God.
God blesses us not because we are so good and so wonderful but just so that we can thank him and praise him and honor him
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Its God desire that we prosper.
He wants us healthy, prosperous having enough for ourselves and for others.
Our prosperity is his pleasure.
How does God see us? When you look at the mirror of Gods word, God sees you smart, sound, healthy, rich prosperous. You have to start talking in agreement with God and say what God says.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
As you speak the word, every situation will conform.
We have power in our mouth to effect changes, if you don’t like the way things are, start speaking differently, as you see changes, be thankful. Don’t allow anyone to speak more about you than you speak to yourself.
1 Corinthians 14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
Paul said I spoke in tongues more than them all. This is an inspiration to us all, we must be continually speaking the word.
There are people who are busy searching for your weaknesses, they never see any thing good only the weak things.
Daniel in the Bible had such people around him, praise God they could not find any excuse or fault in him. You may not be as perfect as Daniel but you have got something special and unique in you. You may have weaknesses, but your strengths far surpass them.
One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to have a lifestyle of integrity. I don’t mean the integrity were you are only concerned about men praising you but the integrity between you and God were by men may not be praising you but you have that praise and honor that comes from God. You know you are walking in your purpose and doing what pleases God. Some people may not like Gods choice but God is all wise and all knowing. He knows more about all of us than any one could ever know.
He knows what you could do that you did not even know you could do. He saw you at your best and your not so best and still he loves you so you don’t have to be bothered about who ever does not like you.
You must focus on God. What is important to God must become important to you. What is unimportant to him must be unimportant to you. God is moving quickly changing lives, winning souls. That’s what’s of topmost priority to him and that should be your priority too.
